Abstract:
Abstract Objective: To study the effect of hedyotis diffusa extract on estradiol (Eª­ª©2ªª), progesterone (P) and luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in ovarian cancer rats.Methods: 30 healthy SD rats were divided into model group, experimental group and blank group. The ovarian cancer model was established in model group and experimental group, and the blank group was not treated. After successful modeling, the rats in the experimental group were injected with the extract of Hedyotis diffusa, and the rats in the model group and the blank group were injected with the same volume of normal saline. After 14 days, all the rats were decapitated, and the specimens were collected. After HE staining, the pathological histogram was observed, and the average weight of the tumor and the average ascites volume of the three groups of rats were measured. The tumor volume and tumor inhibition rate were measured and calculated. Chemiluminescence was used to detect the levels of sex hormones, western blot to detect the relative expression of p38 and NF-kBp65 protein, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to detect the levels of inflammatory markers TNF-a and IL-2. Results: The average weight, ascites and tumor volume of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the model group, and the tumor inhibition rate was significantly higher than that of the model group ( P < 0.05). The relative protein expression of p38 and NF-kBp65 in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the model group, and the levels of TNF-a and IL-2 in the experimental group were also significantly lower than those in the model group ( P <0.05).Conclusion:The extract of Hedyotis diffusa can improve the sex hormone level of ovarian cancer rats, through the p38 / NF-kBp65 signaling pathway to reduce inflammation index in the body, thus inhibiting the development of tumor, and provide an important theoretical basis for clinical treatment and prognosis of ovarian cancer.¡¼LM¡½
